Denis Montlouis is a Los Angeles-born mixed media artist based in San Francisco. His passion for drawing and painting began at an early age and grew in his late teens after leaving L.A. for San Francisco. Initially focused on lifestyle-based abstractions, his work evolved into subject-driven, process-based compositions. With limited resources, he embraced an experimental approach, using any material available to create art.

Through layered media and unconventional techniques, his artworks explores light, atmosphere, and the human condition through the lens of youthful perspective
