Sophia Conte is a ceramic artist based in San Francisco. 

Her work is inspired by her love for San Francisco and its architectural details. She finds inspiration all around the San Francisco - from ventilation grates on traditional Victorian homes to gates in Golden Gate Park, there is ornament everywhere. Her work concentrates designs around the city to more focused pieces so it can be appreciated out of context. She uses raw clay bodies and neutral glazes to highlight textures and forms.

Sophia works exclusively in Stoneware fired in Cone 10 Reduction.
